The old chai is where the wine was stored in oak barrels to mature. It has been tastefully restored and offers similar accommodation to Les Bonnets. The sunny patio overlooks the vines, is quite private and alsobenefits from the sunsets.

Downstairs, Le Chai is very spacious and being on the north side, stays cooler than most, helped by the beautiful thick old stone walls. It is heavily beamed. The raised kitchen area, open to the dining room, has all the comforts from home and is a great space to use.

The bedroom is also magnificently beamed. The comfortable 1.6 metre bed is of good quality, and the room smartly furnished. The bathroom has a w.c., bath with hand shower attachment, bidet and hand basin. The windows overlook the vines with far reaching views over rolling farmland, the goldfish ponds and old roofs.
