Once part of the original farmhouse, the ground floor and original attic space has been converted into our latest and largest gîte, "La Résistance". La Résistance takes its name from the Second World War, when it was a hiding place for the Resistance fighters, who were secreted away in the attic.
The front door leads into the large open plan kitchen/living/dining area. Well-equipped and modern kitchen area complete with dishwasher, washing machine, large refrigerator/freezer and gas cooker. The dining room has a terracotta tiled floor and window looking out over the front lawns and vineyard. A breakfast bar is served by 2 bar stools.
The modern lounge dining room has a window over the old stone sink with lovely views beyond. There are patio doors leading out onto the covered terrace, which takes full advantage of the beautiful sunsets.
Upstairs La Résistance offers a very spacious bedroom with a 1.85 metre bed and a double wardrobed dressing room. Looking out through the door to the Juliet balcony the view is over the front lawns and vineyard to the far distant panorama. This property also has a very spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower, grand slipper bath, hand basin and loo.
