MARTHA'S NEST
All on one level this cottage is perfect for couples looking for a romantic cosy getaway.
Slightly more compact than our other cottages, Martha's Nest is all on one level and centres around a beautifully furnished and intimate room, with a comfortable 5ft bed, a dining table with 2 chairs and a 2-seater settee.
The bathroom is large, with a low-sided bath with integral shower attachment, loo, and washbasin. There is a washing machine and laundry equipment within an integral cupboard.
The kitchen has a cooker, dishwasher, fridge with separate freezer compartment, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cold-box And all you might possibly need in the way of kitchen equipment.
Outside, the patio area overlooks the vines, pond stocked with goldfish, waterlilies and many flowering plants and is frequented by entertaining and vocal frogs. The facilities include a gas barbeque, garden chairs & table, sun-beds and of course, a set of boules.
The outside area of this house enjoys the splendid sunsets.
The Gîte was named after Martha Barrou, our lovely fluffy (ex) cat, who had her kittens here before we restored it.
