Downstairs, Le Chai is very spacious and being on the north side, stays cooler than most, helped by the beautiful thick old stone walls. It is heavily beamed.
The raised kitchen area, open to the dining room, has all the comforts from home and is a great space to use.
The bedroom is magnificently beamed, with a 1.6 metre bed. The windows overlook the vines with far reaching views over rolling farmland, the goldfish ponds and old roofs. The bathroom has a w.c., bath with hand shower attachment, bidet and hand basin.
